Qingdao Shunchang Foodstuff Co., Ltd. is a publicly traded company established in May, 1991. Our company has independent right to import and export.

Now there are 360 employees including more than 30 staff members who graduated from university or junior college. Obviously there are strong technology level and comprehensive talents in our company.

Our company covers 29,300sqm with a building area of 12600sqm and there are two plants respectively located in Jiaozhou city and Fu An Economic and Technological Development Zone. The main products we manufacture are frozen vegetables, fruits and chilli products. There are more than 2000MT of low temperature storage capability, two sets of IQF machines, and eight sets of frozen rooms with daily frozen ability of 32MT. Furthermore we introduced advanced machines to our company, such as food slicer, food dicer, metal detector and X-rays foreign matter detector imported from Japan.

Our main products include frozen vegetables and fruits, frozen seafood, chilli products and kimchi, and yearly processing ability is more than 8000MT including 5000MT of frozen vegetables, 3000MT of chilli products and kimchi, and 300MT of frozen seafood. We have already developed the new products such as frozen strawberry and fried onion dice. Our products are mainly exported to Japan, Korea, America, European Union, and South East Asia. There is about 70-75 % of products exported to Japan and 25-30% of them exported to other countries and regions.

In 2003, we firstly got the right to export the product of spinach to Japan and became one of the twenty-seven (27) exporting factories all over the whole country that were approved by China Inspection and Quarantine and recorded by Japan Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. In 2007, we were qualified for exporting Frozen Ginger to Japan and became one of two (2) exporting factories within Qingdao district. Furthermore we firstly became one of eight factories that exported the Frozen Spinach to Japan exempting from testing the item of Chlorpyriphos. We have already registered with CCIC HACCP verification certificate for vegetables and fruits, CIQ HACCP verification certificate and EU certificate for seafood, China Gap, ISO9001:2000 and CNAS. Moreover we have got the honorary title of A-class credibility enterprise on the side of Food Hygiene in Shandong Province and The recommendation products that was appraised and assessed by Vegetable Basket Project of Jiaozhou.

There are 5004Mu (about 3,337,668sqm) of vegetable and fruit fields that were registered by China Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Among them there are around 1,491Mu of our private fields mainly used for vegetables and fruits.

Specially to say there is a test center established in 2003. It covers 320sqm and is equipped with advanced instruments including GC-2010 Gas Chromatographs and GCMS-2010(Plus) Mass Spectrometer System which were introduced from Japanese Shimadzu and now we can perform several types of test such as Pesticide residue, Microbe testing, Chloramphenicol testing and Mytilotoxin testing.
